Ingredients
  

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Cornet Bay Honey Dijon Sauce
  • 1 cup finely chopped fully cooked ham

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine the first 7 dry ingredients. Combine the eggs, buttermilk, oil and Cornet Bay Honey Dijon Sauce. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the ham. Fill greased muffin cup ¾ full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire rack. Yield-12-14 muffins.

Louisiana Chickpea Poppers

  • 1 15.5 oz. can chick peas (garbanzo)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornet Bay White Lightnin’ Pepper Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon Cornet Bay All Around Seasoning-Hot or Mild*

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and drain the chick peas; pat dry.  Place in a small resealable plastic bag.  Add the remaining ingredients and turn bag several times to coat.  Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hours.
  • Spread the chick peas in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Roast in a 400° oven until crisp. This will be approximately 12 minutes (turn the chick peas over after 5 minutes for even cooking).
  • The poppers are great as a snack or on a salad.
  • *Substitute with any other Cornet Bay Seasoning.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs. red potatoes
  • 4 large eggs hard boiled
  • 2 ½ cups mayonnaise
  • 3 green onions finely chopped
  • 2 stalks celery finely chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 small bell pepper chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped Cornet Bay Sweet & Sassy Jalapeno Peppers
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornet Bay Jalapeno Mustard*
    *Substitute with your choice of Cornet Bay mustard
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, add potatoes and water to cover.
    Bring to boil and cook until fork tender. Drain and cool.
    Peel cooked potatoes and cut into small chunks.
    Put in a very large serving bowl or container.
    Peel and finely chop hard boiled eggs and add to bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix until just combined.
    Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Cornet Bay-Joanne’s Special Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together 1 cup sour cream, ½ cup mayonnaise, and 1 Tablespoon of Cornet Bay-Joanne’s Special Seasoning.  Chill and serve with vegetables, crackers, or on a salad.

  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • ¼ cup chocolate-flavor syrup
  • ¼ cup Cornet Bay Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
  • 6 Tablespoons Cream Cheese Icing
  • 2 Tablespoons CornetvBayvRaspberry Chipotle Sauce
  • 1 drop red food coloring if desired
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare brownies as directed on box (minus 1 egg from the ingredient and pour into choice of baking pan.
  • Combine the chocolate-flavor syrup and raspberry chipotle sauce. Drop by generous tablespoonful randomly in 6 to 8 mounds onto batter in pan).
  • Cut through batter with a knife in S shaped curves in one continuous motion for a marbled effect.
  • Bake as recommended on brownie mix box (it may take a bit longer since the added ingredients make it into a moist/fudgy brownie).
  • Cool brownies thoroughly and then spread with the icing mixture. Top with fresh raspberries if desired.

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • ¾ cup crushed seasoned croutons
  • ¼ cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. Cornet Bay Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. Cornet Bay Cajun Style Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Form mixture by hand into meatballs. Heat 1 tsp. olive oil and 1 Tbsp. butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the meatballs in the skillet and cook, turning constantly for about 20 minutes.

  • 1 Tablespoon White wine
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 2 Salmon filets barbequed, baked or pan seared

Instructions
 

  • Stir white wine and melted butter into the container of Kroger Labeled Smoked Salmon Dip and spread over salmon 5 minutes before taking off of the grill or out of the oven/pan. Also works great with Kroger Labeled Southern Crab Dip.

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 - 1 cup Cornet Bay Cherry Balsamic Sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Lightly salt and pepper the chicken breast.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the chicken, approximately 3-5 minutes per side on medium heat.
  • Add the chicken broth and reduce heat and simmer (covered) for 10 minutes.
  • Then add the Cornet Bay Cherry Balsamic Sauce and continue cooking (covered) for another 5-8 minutes. Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 180°.

Notes

* The cooking times will vary based on the thickness of the chicken breasts. Chicken tenders take less time than a chicken breast.

  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1 lb. large shrimp peeled deveined
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornet Bay Stout N’ Sassy Mustard
  • 2/3 cup diagonally cut green onions
  • 1 cup diced mango 1 medium
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp to pan, sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add mustard to pan; sauté for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in onions and cook for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in diced mango. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with lemon wedges over rice or orzo.
